Faculty of Pharmacy under Parul University has been contributing significantly to research since 2004. It comprises six constituent colleges: Parul Institute of Pharmacy, Parul Institute of Pharmacy & Research, School of Pharmacy, Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Parul Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, and Parul College of Pharmacy & Research (Ahmedabad Campus). These institutions are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for research in conventional and novel drug delivery systems. The advanced instruments include a 10-Station Tablet Compression Machine, Extruder Spheronizer, High-Speed Homogenizer, Spray Dryer, Bench-Top Lyophilizer, Malvern Zeta Sizer, HPLC, IR, PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, HPTLC, Microfluidizer, Electrospinning Unit, and more. The faculty promotes cutting-edge research and academic excellence. All colleges are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. Programs offered include D. Pharm, B. Pharm, M. Pharm (10 specializations), Pharm D., and Pharm D. (Post Baccalaureate). The faculty emphasizes professional skill development, ethical values, and comprehensive pharmaceutical knowledge. Recognized nationally, the faculty is ranked 47th in NIRF India Rankings 2024 and has published over 500 Scopus-indexed research papers, 20 book chapters, and 30 patent applications.
